DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Little Rock sits ninth after the opening day of the 2021 Sun Belt Conference Championship at LPGA International in Daytona Beach. The Trojans posted a 16-over 304 over the opening 18 holes, sitting right in the mix heading to day two.

The Trojans' 304 puts them in a group that will jostle for position heading into round two. Three shots separate the number six and number nine teams as Little Rock is one shot back of Appalachian State (15-over 303), two strokes behind ULM (14-over 302) and three shots back of Troy (13-over 301).
Individually, Little Rock was led by
Viktoria Krnacova's 1-over 73 as she sits tied for 12th among the individual standings. Krnacova registered par on each of the back nine holes, teeing off from hole 10, then went 1-over over the front nine to close out the round.
Agatha Alesson and
Malena Austerslaatt are tied for 26th at 4-over 76, three shots better than
Sydney Scraba's 7-over 79 as she is in a tie for 39th.
Kellie Gachaga rounds out the Trojan scorecard with an 8-over 80.
Texas State holds the team lead at 9-under 279 after 18 holes, joined under par by Coastal Carolina at 4-under 284. Georgia Southern (4-over 292) is third with South Alabama (7-over 295) and Arkansas State (9-over 297) rounding out the top-five after 18 holes.
Round two for the Trojans will get underway with a 7:45 a.m. CT tee time from hole 10 as Little Rock will play with ULM and Appalachian State in the round two pairings.
