LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock Head Women's Basketball Coach
Joe Foley announced the addition of TCU transfer Amari Conn to the Trojans program Monday.
Conn will enter as a sophomore after playing in 14 games last season for the Horned Frogs, shooting 58.3% from the field and an impressive 55.6% mark from 3-point range.
"Amari comes to us filling a distinct need in our perimeter shooting," Foley said. "Her ability to hit the 3-pointer at a high rate will help us stretch defenses and make us a much more dangerous team next season. We also believe she will end up being one of the better defenders in the conference too."
Conn played in 14 games for TCU last season, hitting five of nine 3-pointers with a total of 20 points scored while grabbing eight rebounds and swiping two steals. She scored a season-high six points at Oklahoma State on Jan. 9, 2021 while also tallying a season-high two rebounds against Oklahoma State just three days earlier.
She was a Missouri All-State selection in high school and was the third-ranked recruit to come out of Missouri in 2019-20, averaging 18.5 points and 5.0 rebounds in her senior season at Lincoln Prep High School.
