MOBILE, Ala. – Little Rock shoots a 9-over 297 over the opening 18 holes of the USA Intercollegiate, sitting tied for ninth after round one at Magnolia Grove Crossing Golf Club. The Trojans' 297 has them even with ULM after day one, well within striking distance of a number of teams.

Little Rock was led by freshman
Katja Mueller's even-par 72 in her first collegiate round as she is tied for 15th individually after round one. Mueller finished with 12 pars and three birdies, posting a 1-under 35 over the front nine.
Senior
Tilde Bocker posted a 2-over 74 and is second on the Trojan scorecard, one shot better than sophomore
Viktoria Krnacova's 3-over 75. Bocker posted 14 pars on the afternoon while Krnacova tallied three birdies with 11 pars.
Sophomore
Agatha Alesson is one shot behind Krnacova with an opening round 4-over 76, leading the Trojans with 15 pars on the day, including the front nine holes. Senior
Kellie Gachaga rounded out the Little Rock scorecard with an 8-over 80 while senior
Sydney Scraba added a 6-over 78 competing as an individual.
The Trojans head into Sunday's second round with a two-shot edge on 11th-place Georgia State (11-over 299) and four shots ahead of 12th-place UTEP (13-over 301). Little Rock has a chance to make a jump in the standings on Moving Day, sitting four shots back of a three-way tie for sixth as Arkansas State, South Alabama and Western Kentucky are all at 5-over 293.
South Florida holds the team lead after 18 holes at 8-under 280, leading Middle Tennessee (6-under 282) by two strokes. Sam Houston is third at 3-under 285 with Houston Baptist (Even-par 288) and Troy (2-over 290) rounding out the top-five.
Little Rock's second round will once again get underway with 8:45 a.m. tee times, this time the Trojans will start from hole one, continuing to play with Arkansas State and Middle Tennessee. Gachaga will get things underway at 8:45, leading up to Mueller's 9:21 a.m. tee time. Live scoring is available at
