LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock women's basketball will have a different schedule as they enter their final week of Sun Belt Conference play. The Trojans' game at UT Arlington has been pushed back to Friday at 11 a.m. due to inclement weather affecting both programs.
Â
The game against the Mavericks, a battle of two teams leaving the Sun Belt Conference after this year – will still be broadcast on ESPN+ and on 920 AM The Sports Animal in central Arkansas. Little Rock is moving to the Ohio Valley Conference next year while UTA is heading to the Western Athletic Conference.
Â
Any changes to scheduling details regarding Little Rock's regular season finale at Texas State will be announced once details are finalized.
Â
UA Little Rock's campus closed to in-person classes Wednesday afternoon due to inclement weather and UTA's campus is expected to be closed on Thursday, also due to inclement weather.
Â
The Trojans (14-8, 7-3 Sun Belt) enter the week in a tie for third place with App State in the Sun Belt Standings while the Mavs (16-6, 10-3) are in second place. The top four teams at the end of the regular season receive a first round bye in the Sun Belt Tournament.
