LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock will wrap up the indoor track and field regular season Sunday when the Trojans head to Birmingham for South Alabama-hosted Jaguar Invitational.
This marks the final regular season meet for the Maroon and Silver before postseason action begins.
Three Things to Know
- Conference Preview
Sunday's meet will be more than just a preview in terms of the teams the Trojans will compete against but also in terms of their surroundings. Despite being based in Mobile, South Alabama is heading north to host this meet at the Birmingham SportsPlex, the facility that will host the Sun Belt Indoor Championships later this month.
- Breya Says Seeya!
The Trojan to watch on the women's side, Breya Clark, is set to compete in three events on Sunday – the high jump, the long jump and the triple jump. Clark enters the week ranked in the top 10 in the Sun Belt in all three events with a chance to improve her placing entering the Sun Belt Championships with a strong performance(s) Sunday in Birmingham.
- Leap Over a Wall
Jumper Jordan Wallace is already making waves in the men's triple jump and enters the week ranked third in the Sun Belt. On Sunday, he has the opportunity to improve upon that ranking as well as making moves in the high jump, an event he'll also be competing in at the Jaguar Invitational.
