GULF SHORES, Ala. – Little Rock is tied for seventh after the opening round of the Bama Beach Bash with a 24-over 312 in round one. The Trojans sit seven shots out of fifth and two shots back of sixth after 18 holes.

Sophomore
Viktoria Krnacova shot the low round of the day for Little Rock with a 2-over 74, but her score didn't count toward the team standings being she was competing as an individual.
Malena Austerslaatt and
Anna Dawson both had the lowest counting score with a 5-over 77 as the duo is tied for 24th individually.
Katja Mueller and
Sydney Scraba sit tied for third on the Trojan scorecard at 7-over 79, tied for 46th individually, with
Agatha Alesson's 9-over 81 rounding out the Little Rock scorecard.
The Trojans closed out the opening round tied with Jacksonville State and Murray State at 24-over with the trio sitting one shot better than 10th-place IUPUI (25-over 313). Little Rock is two shots back of sixth-place Elon (22-over 310) and seven shots behind fifth-place Georgia State (17-over 305).
Texas State holds the team lead after day one at 5-over 293, two shots better than host South Alabama's 7-over 295 and five shots ahead of third-place ULM (10-over 298). Dartmouth (12-over 300) is fourth, five shots ahead of the Panthers to round out the top-five.
With storms forecasted for Tuesday, the tournament will conclude with 36 holes Monday, beginning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Little Rock will play with ULM and Georgia State in the final day groupings, teeing off from holes 10, 11 and 12. Live scoring is available at GolfStat.com.
