Trojans Sit 10th After Round Two of Sun Belt Championship

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Little Rock sits 10th among the field after round two of the 2022 Sun Belt Women's Golf Championship at LPGA International. The Trojans shaved four strokes off their round one total, posting a 14-over 302 to sit at 32-over 608 after 36 holes.

Agatha Alesson led Little Rock with a 2-over 74, going even over the front nine to sit 12th in the individual standings at 5-over 149. She is joined in the top-20 by Katja Mueller, firing a 4-ovr 76 in round two and tied for 16th at 7-over 151.
 
Viktoria Krnacova and Sydney Scraba both shot a 4-over 76 in round two with Anna Dawson posting a 6-over 78 as the trio is part of an eight-player tie for 36th at 11-over 155. Krnacova and Scraba both posted a 79-76 in their first two rounds with Dawson shooting a 77-78.
 
Scores were lower nearly across the board Monday as winds were low and temperatures were in the mid 70s. Entering the day tied for ninth, Little Rock slipped one spot and holds a six-stroke lead on 11th-place App State (38-over 614).
 
 The Trojans are part of a six-team grouping within four shots of each other, sitting one shot behind ULM (31-over 607), two back of eighth-place Troy (30-over 606), three back of seventh-place UT Arlington (29-over 605) and four shots back of both Georgia State and South Alabama (28-over 604), tied for fifth.
 
Georgia Southern (17-over 593) holds the team lead, two shots better than Coastal Carolina (19-over 595) after the Chanticleers posted the low round of the day at 4-over 292. Arkansas State (23-over 599) is third with Texas State (24-over 600) fourth, four shots ahead of the Panthers and Jaguars in fifth.
 
Tuesday's final round gets underway with a 7 a.m. CT tee time as the Trojans will play with the Mountaineers over the final 18 holes. Little Rock tees off starting at 7 a.m. CT off hole 10 beginning with Scraba, leading up to Alesson's 7:36 a.m. CT tee time.
