LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock Head Women's Basketball Coach
Joe Foley announced Tuesday that the Trojans will host the Arkansas Razorbacks in a non-conference game in November at the Jack Stephens Center.
Little Rock and Arkansas will tip-off in the capital city on Sunday, Nov. 20 at the Jack Stephens Center. The game time has not yet been announced.
This will be the fifth meeting between the two teams and the second time the Razorbacks will visit the Jack Stephens Center, but the first time in which a full capacity crowd will be allowed. The only other time the two teams met at the Jack Stephens Center was on Dec. 19, 2020 when the pandemic limited capacity at sports venues across the country. In that game the 12
th-ranked Hogs escaped with an 80-70 win over Little Rock's Team.
Little Rock is led by Foley, a Hall of Fame coach that has won more games coaching in the state of Arkansas than any other collegiate basketball coach – men's or women's. Foley currently ranks third in the country among Division I women's basketball head coaches in active career wins (833), behind only Tara Vanderveer (Stanford) and Geno Auriemma (UConn).
The announcement comes as the Trojans will soon be launching renewals and new sales for basketball season tickets. Stay tuned to LRTrojans.com over the next few days for more information.
Little Rock begins play in the Ohio Valley Conference this season, bringing a Foley-led squad that has reached the semifinals of their conference tournament in 15 of the last 16 years. The Trojans have made six NCAA Tournament appearances and twice have advanced to the second round.
