LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock Head Women's Basketball Coach
Joe Foley announced the addition of Spanish native
Elena Moreno to the Trojans' 2022-23 roster Wednesday.
A native of Malaga, Spain, Moreno is a versatile player that comes to Little Rock after leading her team to a third-place finish in the Spain Championship as well as an Andalusian championship for Unicaja Malaga.
"Elena is a big guard who can shoot from long range as well as creating her own shots and scoring inside the paint," Foley said of his newest roster addition. "She is a very competitive player and we are very excited to add Elena to our basketball team. She will be a great addition to our program."
A 6-foot forward, Moreno brings length and a competitive drive with an excellent long-range shot with a reliable percentage. She has a high defensive IQ an is an aggressive player on the court.
Moreno joins eight other newcomers on Little Rock's roster for the 2022-23 season, the Trojans' first in the Ohio Valley Conference. They will combine with five returners on a team that has advanced to the semifinals of their conference tournament in 15 of the past 16 years and are guided by Foley, whose 833 wins ranks third in the nation among active Division I head coaches.

several new benefits to being a season ticket member all while bringing back more doubleheaders, more thrilling action on the hardwood and more exciting Trojan wins.
Fans that take advantage of season ticket memberships will get the best chance to experience the new videoboards being installed at the Jack Stephens Center, a new court design on the floor and the same great exciting action for which Little Rock Basketball is known.
