Little Rock Soccer Game Canceled Sunday as Mississippi Valley Unable to Field a Team

Trojans back in action Thursday at UCA in the Governor's I-40 Showdown

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock Soccer's home opener against Mississippi Valley State on Sunday evening has been canceled after MVSU officials notified the Trojans that they are unable to compete and will not be traveling due to an inability to field a roster for tonight's game.
 
The Trojans (0-1) now turn their attention to Central Arkansas and the Governor's I-40 Showdown as Little Rock will travel to Conway Thursday. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. The Bears (0-0-1) opened their season with a scoreless draw at Missouri State on Thursday and play at Arkansas State today.

Due to the game's cancellation, the Trojan Tailgate set for Sunday has been postponed until next Sunday when Little Rock hosts Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
