Â
Three Things to Know:
Â
1. Unbroken Back Line
In Friday's match the Trojans extended their shutout streak to four games. This is just the second time in program history that a Little Rock team has now allowed a goal in four consecutive matches.
2. Senior Day
Little Rock will honor four seniors in a post-game ceremony following Sunday's matchup against Grambling State. The four honorees include
Natalee Geren,
Chardonnae Harvey,
Allison Morrison and
Mari Young. Geren is the last remaining player on the current team from the 2018 Little Rock squad that won the Sun Belt conference tournament and moved on to play UA-Fayetteville in postseason play. Harvey is in her first year at Little Rock after spending four seasons at UTEP. Morrison and Young both joined the Trojans in 2019 and have played significant roles in their four years at Little Rock.
3. Going for the Sweep
The Trojans will attempt to go undefeated against schools from Louisiana on Sunday after beating the Lady Techsters of Louisiana Tech on Friday. Little Rock has not lost a game since the Governor's I-40 Showdown against Central Arkansas back on August 25, going 2-0-2 during that time and not allowing a goal.
