SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Behind a second round 3-under 281, Little Rock sits second among the 10-team field at the Olympic Club Intercollegiate at The Olympic Club Lake Course in San Francisco. The Trojans are at even-par 568 after 36 holes, one shot back of tournament-leader BYU.

Matteo Cristoni currently sits tied for second among the individual leaderboard with a 4-under 138 after a second round 6-under 65, one shot off the lead and tied for the fifth-lowest single round in program history. Cristoni is joined in the top-10 by
Anton Albers, who is tied for eighth at 1-under 141, highlighted by a 2-under 69 in round one.

The Trojans opened the morning round with a 3-over 287 on the San Francisco coast, tied for fourth among the team standings. Albers' 69 paced the Trojans in round one as
Louis Talarczyk posted a 1-over 72 in his first official round as a Trojan.
Nico Horder and Cristoni added a 2-over 73 to round out the scorers for Little Rock.

Round two saw the Trojans post the second-lowest round of the day, shaving six shots off its opening round total, thanks in part to Cristoni's 6-under 65.
Jansen Smith recovered with an even-par 71 in round two while Albers added his 1-over 72 to sit tied for eighth. Talarczyk and Horder both added a 2-over 73, sitting tied for 23rd and 26th, respectively.

Magnus Lomholt also had a strong opening day for Little Rock, sitting tied for 15th competing as an individual. Lomholt opened with a 1-under 70, followed by a 2-over 73, sitting at 1-over 143 following 36 holes.

Little Rock sits in second place after 36 holes, one shot back of BYU (1-under 567) after the Cougars shot a 6-under 278 in round one but a 5-over 289 in round two. The Trojans hold a one shot lead on third-place Santa Clara (1-over 569), two shots on fourth-place Loyola Marymount (2-over 570) and are three shots better than both host San Francisco and Nevada (3-over 571).

The Trojans will head into Tuesday's final round playing to try and win the 11th team tournament title under head coach
