WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Little Rock men's golf continued its standout 2025-26 season with a conference-leading five selections to the All-Ohio Valley Conference teams, highlighted by a first-team honor for sophomore standout Ed Featherstone.
Featherstone, a native of Sheringham, England, earned All-OVC First Team recognition following a breakout campaign that has positioned him among the league's elite. He is joined on the first team by teammate Rhett South, while freshman Viggo Talasmaki also earned first-team honors in his debut season.
Little Rock's depth was further on display as Mark Stockdale earned recognition on both the All-OVC First Team and the All-Newcomer Team, while fellow freshman Elliott Simonsen garnered All-OVC Second Team and All-Newcomer Team honors.
In total, five Trojans were recognized across the conference's postseason teams, reinforcing Little Rock's position as one of the OVC's premier programs.
"Really pleased for the guys to be recognized for their performances this season," Little Rock head coach Austin Eoff said. "Obviously, Ed has had a breakout season, but it is great to see Mark, Rhett, Elliott and Viggo be recognized for their performances as well."
Featherstone echoed the team-first mindset as the Trojans shift their focus to postseason play.
"It's a great honor to be recognized, but for us it's all about what we do this week," Featherstone said. "We've put ourselves in a good position, and now it's about going out and finishing the job."
While the individual accolades highlight the program's success, the Trojans remain focused on the bigger goal.
"Awards and recognition are great, but we are here for the trophy at the end of the week, and our focus is set on that," Eoff added.
The Trojans now turn their attention to the OVC Championship, which begins Sunday in West Lafayette, Indiana, as Little Rock looks to defend its conference title and continue its strong postseason push.
