WOLCOTT, Colo. – Two Trojans sit among the individual top-20 as Little Rock is tied for 10th among a challenging 20-team field at the GolfWeek Red Sky Classic in Wolcott, Colorado. The Trojans posted a 5-over 293 in round one, sitting four shots out of the top-five.

Little Rock was led by sophomore
Anna Dawson's 1-under 71, tying her career-low. Dawson went 1-over on the opening nine holes, then 2-under over the front nine, finishing with five birdies to sit tied for 12th among the 100-player field.
Dawson was joined in the top-20 by graduate student
Malena Austerslaatt, firing an even-par 72 in her first round of the season. Austerslaatt finished round one with a team-best six birdies, matching Dawson with a 2-under over the front nine to sit tied for 17th.

Viktoria Krnacova is third on the scorecard with a 2-over 74, tied for 45th following a 2-over 74 and going even on the back nine. Junior
Agatha Alesson posted a 4-over 76 with sophomore
Katja Mueller adding a 6-over 78 to round out the Trojan scorecard.
Little Rock closes the opening 18 holes tied with Eastern Michigan at 5-over 293, one shot better than 12th-place Rutgers (6-over 294) and two shots ahead of 13th-place Northern Arizona (7-over 295). The Trojans are two shots behind ninth-place East Tennessee State (3-over 291) and , three behind eighth-place Washington State (2-over 290).
Pepperdine holds the team lead with a 3-under 285, leading second-place Colorado and Fresno State (1-under 287) by two strokes. Xavier (even-par 288) is fourth with Delaware, Kennesaw State and Mercer (1-over 289) in a three-way tie for fifth, four shots ahead of the Trojans.
Little Rock will be among the first wave to tee off from hole one Tuesday morning, playing with East Tennessee State and Eastern Michigan. Mueller will lead things off with her 11 a.m. CT tee time, proceeding to Dawson's 11:40 a.m. CT tee time. Live scoring is available at GolfStat.com.
