Trojans Play Host to Louisiana Tech This Friday for Bark at the Park

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock is back home and will host the annual Bark at the Park promotional event this Friday when the Louisiana Tech Lady Techsters come to the Coleman Sports Complex to face the Trojans on Friday.

Three Things to Know:
 
1. A Pair of Honors
Little Rock goalkeeper Peyton Urban and defender Natalee Geren were named Ohio Valley Conference Goalkeeper of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively, for their performances against Oral Roberts and Arkansas State. These are the first weekly honors awarded to the Little Rock soccer program this season. This also marks the first time that any Trojan student-athlete has received an OVC Player of the Week award as the school joined the conference on July 1.
2. Little Rock Lockdown
The Trojan defense has not allowed a goal since their game against Central Arkansas on August 28. Shutouts of Arkansas Pine Bluff, Oral Roberts and Arkansas State have brought the streak to three games as no opponent has been able to find the back of the net in 278 minutes of play against Little Rock.
3. Week of Louisiana
For the first and only times this year, the Trojans will face off with schools from Louisiana in LA Tech on Friday and Grambling on Sunday. In program history Little Rock is 44-38-6 against teams from the Pelican State and has played every Division I university from Louisiana that sponsors or has sponsored women's soccer.
