Three Things to Know
- The King Returns
Cameron Jackson, the 2022 Sun Belt Male Track Athlete of the Year in outdoors, is ready to return to the track after an injury prevented him from competing at the NCAA Prelims last May. "King" Jackson is entered in the 200m in his return to the track since winning a trio of gold medals last year.
- Double Vision
No, you aren't seeing double when you watch the women's sprints. Takia and Talia Palmer, identical twin sisters, make their Little Rock debut Friday and both are entered into the women's 60m and 200m dashes. Here's hoping they aren't in lanes next to each other!
- The Fox Says…
Matthew Fox, fresh off of being named the OVC's Male Field Co-Athlete of the Week, will compete in a high jump competition Friday that is full of Trojans. Fox joins 2022 Sun Belt High Jump Champion Johnathan Jones and five other Little Rock athletes in the event.
