Bronte Peel Claims Her First OVC Weekly Award

BRENTWOOD, Ten.- Bronte Peel is awarded her first career OVC weekly award as she is named OVC Offensive Player of the Week.

In what was truly a must-win game for the Trojans, Bronte Peel provided the spark needed to get past Eastern Illinois. After entering the second half trailing 0-1, Peel took it upon herself to push the Trojans ahead by scoring 2 goals. Despite this being her first weekly award, Peel is no stranger to the accolades. Last year, she was named to the All-OVC First Team and the All-OVC Newcomer team. 

The Trojans' striker will look to carry her momentum for the team as Little Rock hosts Western Illinois in another high-stakes game this Thursday at 6 p.m.
