Kelly Farrell announces the signing of three new players to join the team at the start of the 2024 season.
Jetney Cook; Defender; Grand Prairie, Texas
Jetney Cook adds to the pipeline of Texan athletes on the Little Rock squad. The DFW native defender will add an extra layer of depth to the Trojans' stifling defensive backline. Coach
Kelly Farrell says, "Jetney is a fun player to watch. She's a hard-nosed outside back with the ability and willingness to get forward in the attack. She's been playing at a super high level in Texas and I expect her to transition seamlessly to the college level."
Maggie Turner; Forward; Papillion, Nebraska
Maggie Turner follows in her older sister Mykena's footsteps as she joins the Little Rock squad. Turner will join a very seasoned Trojan front line adding some youth. Coach
Kelly Farrell says, "Maggie is a very versatile and athletic player who can play across any of the three lines; though, we will likely see her as a forward. She is someone who I've had on my radar for a few years now and I am excited to get her down to Little Rock!"
Tianna Jones; Forward; Bentonville, Arkansas
Tianna Jones is the lone Arkansas native in this signing class. The savvy forward will give bring a new energy to our attacking third. Coach
Kelly Farrell says, "Tianna is a super technical player who can play up top or in the midfield. She brings an element of creativity that makes her fun to watch and will enhance our play in the middle and final third of the field. It's been a goal of ours to keep in-state talent at home and we are excited to have a player of Tianna's caliber in Little Rock."
With three signees on the way, Little Rock pads their young team with lots of potential to grow and continue to improve.
