LITTLE ROCK – The 2022-23 All-OVC Women's Golf Team is certainly Little Rock heavy, with all five Trojans in the lineup at the conference championship tournament receiving selection.

Kellie Gachaga, and
Viktoria Krnacova were all selected to the All-OVC team, with Little Rock having more golfers recognized than any other school in the conference. Although the All-OVC teams were announced tonight, the 2022-23 Player and Coach of the Year will be announced on Tuesday after the final round of the OVC Championship.
Alesson, a junior from Caracas, Venezuela, notched a 75.11 season scoring average and three top-20 finishes, including an 8
th place finish at the Tchefuncta Invitational. That 75.11 currently ranks 11
th all time for season scoring average in the Little Rock record book. Her five par-or better rounds this season has her tied for fifth all time in season par-or-better rounds.
Mueller's boasts a team best 75.00 scoring average, which also ranks her second in the conference. The Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany native has secured three top-20 finishes, highlighted by a runner-up finish at the Bama Beach Bash. Like Alesson, Mueller finds her name in several categories in the Little Rock record book as she currently is in second for career scoring average (74.74), and ranks tenth for best season scoring average (75.00).
Dawson, a sophomore from Waterford, Ireland, holds the season low-round for the Trojans, a 4-under 68 at the Little Rock Golf Classic where she also achieved her season-best finish tying for tenth. Dawson is tied for fifth for most par-or-better rounds in a single season (5). Her 75.41 scoring average this season also places her in fifteenth in program history.
Gachaga is the only graduate student to be named to the All-OVC team. A native of Nairobi, Kenya, Gachaga has appeared in five events for the Trojans this year, including a 9
th place finish at the White Sands Bahamas Invitational. Gachaga enters the OVC Championship with a 75.13 scoring average. Her five career eagles has her tied for first in program history and her 111 career rounds played has her in 11
th all time.
Krnacova posted a 76.07 scoring average this season with two par-or-better rounds and tied for tenth at the Bama Beach Bash, marking her highest finish of the season. Krnacova is a junior from Žilina, Slovakia and is currently tied for 8
th in program history for career par-or-better rounds (8) and 11
th for career scoring average (76.50).
The All-OVC Trojans were recognized at an awards banquet on Sunday evening after round 1 of the OVC Championship. Little Rock is currently in second place, just one stroke back from Morehead State, after the first 18 holes with every Trojan in the top-20.
Katja Mueller is tied for first with Morehead State's Ruth Tonnessean, carding a 2-over 74.
Round 2 of the OVC Championship will begin Monday at 8:00 a.m. The Trojans will tee off beginning with Alesson at 9:20 a.m. leading up to Mueller at 10:00 a.m. Live stats can be found at GolfStat.com.
