LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock Head Women's Basketball Coach
Joe Foley announced the addition of three-year veteran Lamariyee Williams to the Trojans program Friday.

Williams, whose first name is pronounced "
lah-MAHR-EE-ah", comes to Little Rock after spending the past three seasons as a guard at Oakland, where she avergaaed 5.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.0 assists 0.8 steals and 0.1 blocks in her three seasons, averaging 16.8 minutes per game.

"Lamariyee is a combo guard who can score by beating you off the dribble or shooting the perimeter shot," Foley said. "She is a good athlete with playing experience at the college level and we are very excited that she will be a Trojan."

Williams totaled 246 points, 135 rebounds, 47 assists, 35 steals and five blocks in 772 minutes for the Golden Grizzlies. She tallied a career-high 16 points and 10 rebounds in her first career double-double on Mar. 1, 2022 in a 54-45 win over Wright State in the first round of the Horizon League Tournament.

She also posted a career-high four assists earlier that season against Michigan State and was credited with two blocks at Cleveland State on Jan. 30, 2021.

By joining Little Rock's Team, Williams becomes a Trojan once again. She is a 2020 graduate of East Lansing High School and scored over 1,000 points while wearing an East Lansing Trojans jersey.

Williams is the fifth addition to Foley's squad as the Trojans prepare to defend their Ohio Valley Conference regular season championship entering their second season as members of the OVC.
