LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- The Trojans will travel to Oklahoma for two matches against Oral Roberts on Thursday August 24
th at 7 pm
and Oklahoma State on Sunday August 27
th at 1 pm.
History
The Trojans have battled Oral Roberts 13 times since 1988 and totaled a record of 3-9-1. The last time the Trojans and Owls faced off was last year and the result was a 0-0 tie.
This will be the ninth contest between Little Rock and Oklahoma State as the Trojans enter looking to pick up their first win of the series. The last time these two teams met was in 2020 where the Trojans fell to the then ranked Cowgirls 3-0.
What to Expect
The Trojans aim to capitalize on the momentum gained from a big tie against Florida Atlantic on the road.
Colleen Gilliland and
Candice Kilderry both look to up their goal totals after finding the net in the season opener. Other players to watch include
Mykena Turner,
Amaya Arias,
Bronte Peel, and
Kaitlin Graeber.
This will certainly be a test for the Trojans as both Oral Roberts and Oklahoma State are strong programs with lots of NCAA Tournament experience. The young Trojans will look to set the tone for the year after a strong road performance in Florida.
