Indoor Track heads to Fayetteville for Friday's Arkansas Invitational

The Little Rock Indoor Track & Field teams head to Fayetteville at the end of the week for the 2025 Arkansas Invitational, where the Trojans will compete against 10 other schools from Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas at the Randal Tyson Track Center on Friday.

Little Rock will line up with host Arkansas, as well as Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Central Arkansas, Coffeyville CC (Kansas), John Brown, North Texas, Oklahoma State, Oral Roberts, Texas and Tulsa. The meet begins with field events at 12 pm, the national anthem will take place at 1:55 pm and running events take off at 2 pm. The competition will be available for streaming on ESPN+/SEC Network+.

Field events begin with the men's shot put and end with the women's weight throw while running events start with qualifying in the 60-meter hurdles and conclude with the 4x400 relay at approximately 8:05 pm. Meet results are available live at flashresults.com.

Last year at this event, Little Rock established six new program records while each team had five athletes with Top 5 finishes. Aaliyah Mathis won the shot put, earning the Trojans' lone gold medal of the competition.

Friday's meet is the first of two trips Little Rock will make to Fayetteville. The Trojans will also compete in the Tyson Invitational on Feb. 14-15.
