Trojans Wrap Up Fall Season With Diamante Intercollegiate

The annual tournament, which has gone by several names over the years, has become a fall tradition for the Trojans. Little Rock has enjoyed success on the challenging Diamante Course, finishing in the top five each of the past two seasons.

"This is a fun tournament for us since we host it, and Diamante has been a great partner over the years," said head coach Jenna Birch. "We're looking forward to another great week and the chance to compete for a championship."

This year's field features several returning programs, including Boston College, last year's runner-up, and Oral Roberts, which tied Little Rock for third. Other teams in the top 10 last fall included California Baptist, Missouri State, Arkansas State, and Central Arkansas.

"We've faced strong competition all fall, and this tournament is no different," Birch said.

The Trojans are coming off a fifth-place finish last week at the Lady Red Wolves Classic in Jonesboro. Eleonore Aernouts led the way, finishing second overall and earning OVC Golfer of the Week honors.

"Eleonore has been working hard all fall and has played really well," Birch added. "I expect her to have another strong showing this week."
