PALM CITY, FL. — The Little Rock women's golf team posted a solid opening round on Sunday, placing the Trojans in eleventh position on the team leaderboard at the UCG Advance Partners Collegiate after day one.

Three of the six Trojans finished the first round in the Top 50 on the player leaderboard, with
Eleonore Aernouts tied for fourth position after day one..
Eleonore Aernouts, T-4 – 2-under (70) … Aernout's first round included three birdies—two on the front nine and one on the back nine. She also finished with par on 14 holes..
Anna Dawson, T-42 - 4-over (76) … Dawson had 4 bogeys and hit par on 14 holes.
Elvira Flodstrom, T-42 – 4-over (76) … Flodstrom hit one birdie and one par in her first round.
Katja Mueller, T-80 – 10-over (82) … Mueller made two birdies and eight pars, but also had five bogeys in the first round.
Iara Martin, T-80 – 10-over (82) … Martin made four bogies and finished par on eleven other holes Saturday.
Fehild Graesel (Individual) , T-42 – 4-over (76) … Graesel birdied four holes and made par on 14 others during her opening round.
Virginia Tech (13-under) is in first place after the first round, with in-state rivals Arkansas State in third and conference competitors Morehead State in fourth. The Trojans are tied for eleventh and are ready to fight for more. The second round is scheduled to begin at 7:00 a.m. local time, or 6:00 a.m. CST, on Monday.
