MONROE, La. – Little Rock closed out the ULM Invitational with its best round of the tournament Tuesday, finishing sixth overall at Bayou DeSiard Country Club.
The Trojans posted rounds of +16, +11 and +5 to finish at +32, showing steady improvement across all three rounds against a competitive NCAA Division I field.
Eleonore Aernouts led the way for Little Rock with a tie for ninth-place finish at +1. The junior turned in one of the top rounds of the day Tuesday with a one-under 71, showcasing consistency and composure down the stretch.
Cloe Poizac followed with a strong performance, finishing 20th overall at +7 after carding a one-under 71 in the final round — one of the best scores in the field.
Iara Martin placed 31st at +9, while
Fehild Graesel finished 62nd at +19 and
Elvira Flodstrom placed 70th at +21 to round out the Trojan lineup.
Competing as individuals,
Nina Pitsch finished 64th at +20 and
Petra Balkovec placed 74th at +23.
Little Rock showed clear momentum throughout the tournament, improving its score in each round and closing with its strongest performance of the week.
ULM captured the team title at 8-under, followed by Samford (+6) and Houston Christian (+11).
The Trojans will now shift their focus to the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament at Dalton, Ga., which tees off Sunday, April 19.
