HUMACAO, Puerto Rico — The Little Rock women's golf team turned in a solid opening round Tuesday, helping the Trojans to a tenth-place position on the team leader board at the Puerto Rico Shootout after one day. Little Rock fired a 13-over to trail Ball State (12- over) after the first round.

Three of the six Trojans finished the first round in the Top 20 on the player leader board, and five of the six in the Top 50 as Tuesday's round concluded.
TEAM
Anna Dawson, 5th – 2-under (70) … Dawson's first round included two birdies,. She also finished par on the rest of her holes.
Eleonore Aernouts, T-17th – 1-over (73) … Aernouts made three birdies and finished par on nine other holes Tuesday.
Fehild Graesel, T-50th – 5-over (77) … Graesel made two birdies, including two on the back nine, while hitting par on 8 others.
Iara Martin, T-20th – 9-over (81) … Martin made 11 pars but also had a few bogeys in the first round.
Elvira Flodstrom 79th – 4-over (76) … Flodstrom birdied two holes and made par on 8 others in her opening round.
INDIVIDUAL
Katja Mueller, T-50th – 1-over (73) … Mueller hit 2 birdies and nine pars in her opening round. Birdies on 13 and 16 were bookends around a double bogey on the 14
th hole.
Southern Mississippi (1-under) is first after the first round, while UNCG and James Madison round out the Top 3. Wednesday' second round is scheduled for an 8:30 am (local) start, 6:30 am CST.
