LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Three members of the Little Rock Baseball program have received recognition from the Ohio Valley Conference in their first year with the Trojan program, as the 2025 All-OVC Baseball Honors were announced today in advance of the OVC Championships, which begin tomorrow when Little Rock competes in the opening game at 9 am in Marion, Ill.

Ryan Geck (UTIL) and
Cooper Chaplain (2B) were named Second Team All-OVC, and newcomer
Cade Martin (C) was named to the OVC All-Freshman Team for the Trojans after all three made huge splashes during their debut seasons in the Capital City.

RYAN GECK, Jr. – Long Beach, Calif.
Serving primarily as the Trojans' designated hitter, Geck also saw significant time at first base and in the outfield in the early parts of the season. The junior from California leads the Trojans in batting average (.314), hits (64), RBIs (45), doubles (15), and total bases, starting in all 51 games. He also ranks third in the OVC in doubles and eighth in RBIs.
COOPER CHAPLAIN, Jr. – Jackson, Miss.
Chaplain also started all 51 games for Little Rock, leading the team in both runs scored (41) and stolen bases (12) while also posting a .312 batting average with 59 hits, five homers, and 33 RBIs. A wizard with the glove, Chaplain also ranks third in the OVC in double plays turned. Chaplain had a team-best streak of 34 games in which he reached base safely.
CADE MARTIN, Fr. – Texarkana, Texas
Martin stepped in early in the season when injury struck the opening day starter behind the plate, but the first-year walk-on didn't disappoint, playing in 40 games with 38 starts while ranking among the team leaders in average (.279), slugging percentage, and doubles. He scored 22 runs, collected 36 hits and 26 RBIs with four homers during the regular season.
