Tuesday's game with UCA canceled due to inclement weather

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Spring storms continue to leave their mark on the Little Rock baseball schedule, most recently leading to the cancellation of tonight's game against Central Arkansas. Heavy rain is expected to reach the Little Rock area this evening, and the decision to cancel was made earlier this morning.

The Trojans have already secured the season series against UCA in the Governor's I-40 Showdown, with wins of 23-9 at home on March 18, and a 9-6 win in Conway on April 9. Little Rock has now seen its last three contests called off due to weather, with the final two games at Eastern Illinois also canceled last weekend.

Little Rock is due to host UT Martin for its final home series this weekend, then travel to Southeast Missouri for the last series of the regular season May 15-17. The Trojans find themselves in a battle for one of the final eight seeds in the upcoming OVC Championships, currently sitting eighth, one game behind seventh-place UT Martin and 2.5 ahead of Western Illinois, who's in ninth.
