LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Ohio Valley Conference released its 2025-26 men's basketball schedule Thursday. Little Rock will host 10 home games, including six in February. Little Rock's nonconference schedule will be announced later this summer.
The Trojans begin OVC action Dec. 16 at Morehead State, followed by a trip to Southern Indiana on Dec. 18.
Little Rock's first home conference game is scheduled for Jan. 1 against Tennessee Tech at the Jack Stephens Center, with Tennessee State visiting two days later on Jan. 3.
"It will be nice to be home in the early part of the conference season after a break," head coach
Darrell Walker said. "Hopefully, fans will see what we've done early in the season and come out and support us.
"We're hoping to get crowds every time we play at home. That's big for us. We have the nicest arena in the OVC, and we need that support. Show up and show out."
The Trojans will play two additional home games in January, hosting Eastern Illinois on Jan. 15 and Western Illinois on Jan. 17.
February features six home contests, including matchups with Lindenwood (Feb. 5) and SIUE (Feb. 7). Little Rock also hosts UT Martin on Feb. 19 and Southeast Missouri on Feb. 21. The home slate concludes with games against Morehead State on Feb. 26 and Southern Indiana on Feb. 28.
"We're on the road so much, it's great to have some home games late in the season," Walker said. "You never know what's going to happen, but having that home stretch could be big for us."
The 2026 OVC Tournament is set for March 4–7 at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana.
Walker and his staff continue to work with a roster that includes seven newcomers.
"Right now, we're in a gel and meshing period," Walker said. "We're implementing things we want to do offensively and defensively. I think we'll be even better defensively than we were last year."
