LITTLE ROCK, AR. – The Little Rock Trojans will bring it home to Coleman Sports Complex for the long-awaited Governor's I-40 Showdown this Sunday at 6 p.m.
Little Rock (1-2) is coming off a 2-1 loss at ULM, while UCA (2-2) won 1-0 against Sacramento State.
Series History
The Trojans lead the series all-time with an 8-6-3 record. The last time these teams faced was in Conway last year, which resulted in a 2-0 win sealed by two incredible goals in the final two minutes, including one from now-senior Serenity Thake. The victory added to Little Rock's strong history at home in the rivalry, where they hold a 5-2-2 advantage over the Bears.
Dating back to 1999, the Trojans have outscored UCA 25-19 across the series and opened the rivalry with a commanding 4-0 win in their first meeting. While UCA has had stretches of success, Little Rock has consistently held the upper hand, including a five-game win streak early in the series.
Sunday's game will be streamed on ESPN+ with kickoff starting at 6 p.m.
