LITTLE ROCK — The Little Rock Soccer program is entering the 2025 season with strong expectations by placing third in the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) preseason poll. The conference predicts the Trojans to finish in third place behind Tennessee Tech and Lindenwood, two schools that have combined to win the last four conference titles. Little Rock finished second a year ago — the team's best finish since 2018 — and performed well in the conference tournament, but ultimately fell to Lindenwood in the semifinals.
"It's good to set our sights high but that just means we have to go on the field and execute," Little Rock head coach
Kelly Farrell said. "We've worked hard to improve our foothold in the conference and will continue to do that again this season and hopefully bring a title back to Little Rock."
The 2025 OVC Preseason All-Conference team includes senior midfielder
Amaya Arias, junior forward
Candice Kilderry, and senior goalkeeper
Peyton Urban. All three contributed greatly to the Trojans last year. Arias started all 19 matches during the season while recording 8 shots on goal as a defender. Kilderry recorded 19 starts with 6 goals and 1 assist; and finally, Urban, the 2024 OVC Goalkeeper of the Year, had 10 clean sheets while recording 94 saves and allowed just 17 goals.

Serenity Thake made the 2025 OVC Watch List. Thake is a strong veteran presence entering her senior year who played a full 90 minutes in multiple games.
