Little Rock battled on two fronts over the weekend, competing in both St. Louis and Prairie View with strong performances across the board. The Trojans recorded multiple top-three finishes, several personal records, and a new school record from freshman
Jordan Morgan.
Morgan continued her dominant season in the jumps, breaking the Little Rock school record in the triple jump with a mark of 12.89 meters. She also claimed first place in the event.
"I am simply excited and grateful. This mark is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and commitment I've displayed this season. I thank God for giving me this talent, it was long overdue. I'm ready to keep building," said Morgan.
Prairie View A&M Relays

In the field events, senior

WashU Distance Carnival
The distance squad competed against a deep field featuring hundreds of athletes from across the country.
Junior
Devin Stevens and graduate
Jordan Smith led the men's side. Stevens ran a season-best 1:50.59 in the 800 meters, finishing seventh and narrowly missing a personal record. Smith recorded a new PR of 14:27.12 in the 5,000 meters, placing 18th in a field of over 100 competitors.
On the women's side, sophomore
Aaliyah Joshua continued her strong form, setting a PR of 17:35.81 in the 5,000 meters, her first time breaking the 18-minute mark. Freshman
Eva Tice also delivered a solid performance.
"WashU went solid," said assistant coach Jordyn Naylon. "Devin had his fastest opener of the season in the 800, Aaliyah had a huge PR and her first sub-18 in the 5K, and Jordan opened with a PR as well. Shane ran a strong, even 1500m and continues to improve. Cayla gained valuable experience in her first outdoor 800, and Eva was running well before getting jostled. Overall, a good meet for the distance squad."
