CONWAY, Ark. – Jaelyn Tucker and
Ryan Curington each claimed a gold medal in their respective long jump competitions as action got underway at the Richard Martin Jr Invitational Friday afternoon in Conway.

Tucker jumped 17-7 (5.36m) to win the women's long jump while
Bria Allen followed in second, jumping 17-3.5 (5.27m). Meanwhile on the men's side,
Ryan Curington jumped 22-8.5 (6.92m) to win the men's competition.

In the men's hammer throw,
Isaiah Parker registered a mark of 155-5 (47.37m) to place second while
Casey Griffin placed fifth with a throw of 131-3 (40.01m).

Spencer Cardinal paced the Trojans in the men's 1,500m as he ran 4:07.23 while
Dominic Ward placed ninth with a time of 4:17.73. On the women's side,
Ariana Garcia ran 4:59.79 to finish fifth while
Lindsey Hutcheson placed sixth with a time of 5:01.17.

Final results from the women's hammer throw had not posted as of post time with the event running up against the clock with fading daylight and no lights at the throwing complex.
Mia Dunning had set a mark of over 182' that is expected to set a new school record in the hammer once results are finally posted.

Action gets underway in the final day of the Richard Martin Jr Invitational Saturday with field events starting at 9am and running events getting underway at 2 p.m.
