SEARCY, Ark. – Freshman
Ethan Sorrels finished the opening day of the Harding Spring Break Multis in second place in the decathlon as Little Rock opened up the outdoor season Monday.

Sorrels ended the day with 3,175 points in the decathlon behind only Harding's Matt Hipshire. Freshman
Matthew Fox finished the day in seventh place with 2,417 points in the decathlon.

On the women's side,
Gabby Ayiteyfio scored 2,289 points in the heptathlon to finish the day in third place.
Â
All three Trojans are freshmen in their first competition in the outdoor season. Action in the men's decathlon and women's heptathlon wraps up Tuesday.
