SEARCY, Ark. – Ethan Sorrels led Little Rock at the Harding Spring Break Multis as the Trojans kicked off the outdoor season by wrapping up the multis meet Tuesday.

Sorrels scored 4,614 points to finish fifth in the men's decathlon while
Matthew Fox finished in sixth, scoring 3,500 points. Sorrels best mark of the day came in the pole vault as he cleared 12-1.5 (3.70m) in the pole vault while Fox's highest scoring event came in the javelin as his mark of 166-4 (50.71m) scored 599 points.

On the women's side,
Gabby Ayiteyfio scored 2,721 points to place sixth in the heptathlon. Her best score of the day Tuesday came in the javelin as her mark of 90-8 (27.65m).

All three Trojans competed in their first collegiate outdoor meet in Searcy.

Little Rock is back in action on March 18-19 when the Trojans head to the Richard Martin Jr. Invitational in Conway.
