LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A move to the Ohio Valley Conference with new league rivals and a new head coach will headline the start of the fall for Trojan Soccer as Little Rock unveiled its 2022 schedule on Wednesday.

As
Kelly Farrell enters her first season leading Little Rock's Team, she'll do so as she guides the Trojans into the Ohio Valley Conference and the debut of the 2022 edition of Little Rock Soccer first hits the pitch on Aug. 7 with an exhibition at Austin Peay.
The challenging schedule includes eight opponents that finished with a .500 or better winning percentage last year while three claimed a conference championship.
In all, Little Rock has 17 regular season matches on the docket with nine games at home and eight league contests scheduled. The regular season debuts on Aug. 18 when Little Rock plays at 2021 NCAA Tournament participant Memphis and the first home match at the Coleman Sports Complex is set for Aug. 21 at 6 p.m. against Mississippi Valley State. That will be the annual Trojan Tailgate with plenty of free food, music and games taking place prior to kickoff.
The Governor's I-40 Showdown presented by Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield renews its rivalry on Aug. 25 when the Trojans head up to Conway to face UCA before returning home to host Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Aug. 28 at 6 p.m. Little Rock maintains its rivalry with Arkansas State and the two teams will meet on Sept. 4 in Jonesboro.
Little Rock's first-ever Ohio Valley Conference match takes place on Sept. 18 when the Trojans play at Lindenwood before returning home to host UT Martin on Sept. 22 at 4 p.m. Following trips to Southern Indiana (Sept. 25) and Morehead State (Oct. 2), Little Rock will host Southeast Missouri on Oct. 6 at 4 p.m. then head to SIUE for a 2 p.m. tilt on Oct. 9. The regular season wraps up at home as the Trojans host Eastern Illinois on Oct. 16 at Noon and then Tennessee Tech visits the Capital City for a Noon kickoff on Oct. 23.
The OVC Tournament will be held across two weeks at campus sites beginning on Oct. 28 with opening round play while the semifinals and finals will take place at the top seed's campus site on Nov. 4 and Nov. 6, respectively.
