Little Rock Soccer to Begin 2022 Season with Exhibition at Austin Peay

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- The Little Rock Soccer squad will begin their 2022 season with an exhibition match at Austin Peay in Clarksville, Tennessee this weekend on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Three Things to Know

1. A New Era
Kelly Farrell will begin her head coaching career with this exhibition match. After being announced as the program's head coach back in May, she has been hard at work sculpting this team to compete this season.
2. The Young Trojans
There are just nine returning players from the 2021 Little Rock soccer team heading into the season. Among the 13 newcomers in Farrell's recruiting class include 10 freshmen ready to begin their collegiate careers as Trojans.
3. The Game Honors Loyalty
By coming back for her fifth season in a Little Rock uniform, defender Natalee Geren has a chance to break the all-time number of games played in program history this season. She is currently sitting at 73 with the record being 84 set by Jane Picarelli from 2007-10.
