JONESBORO, Arkansas — Little Rock freshman
Kathrine Vynne continued her impressive run in the fall season Tuesday, finishing second individually and leading the Trojans to a second-place team finish at the Lady Red Wolves Classic at Sage Meadows Golf Club. The second-place finish matches the highest for Little Rock this season and gives the team four Top 10 finishes and three in the Top 5 in four events.

Vynne was recently named OVC Golfer of the Month for September and didn't let up, turning in two rounds below par in Jonesboro (76-70-69) for a final score of 215 (-1). She totaled nine birdies, one eagle and hit par on 35 holes over three rounds (54 holes). She finished just five strokes behind the overall champion.

As a team, Little Rock finished behind only Louisiana Monroe, which took the lead after the opening round and never looked back, finishing at 5-over for the event. The Trojans finished 18-over, Central Arkansas was third, Troy finished fourth and Samford rounded out the Top 5. Little Rock's team scores were 302-287-288 for 877 overall.

Eleonore Aernouts finished 11
th overall after carding a 74 (+2) in the final round to finish at 4-over for the tournament.
Katja Mueller and
Anna Dawson each finished at 11-over and tied for 37
th, while
Fehild Graesel was 20-over.

Little Rock will host its home event next weekend from Oct. 20-22, welcoming a total of 17 other teams to Diamante Country Club in Hot Springs for the 2024 Diamante Intercollegiate.
