PALM CITY, Fla. – The Little Rock women's golf team found momentum heading into the final round of the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate on Monday at Hammock Creek Golf Club.
The Trojans sit 12th in the team standings at 45-over par, just one shot behind Jacksonville State and Daytona State, who are tied for eighth. Little Rock made a move during the day as it continued to navigate the challenging Hammock Creek layout.
Virginia Tech holds a commanding lead at 10-over par, 17 strokes ahead of second-place Appalachian State.
Little Rock will tee off in the final round Tuesday beginning at 8 a.m.
Leading the way for the Trojans was
Eleonore Aernouts, who surged up 24 spots into a tie for 10th place. The France native posted an even-par 72 and sits at 5-over for the tournament. Lara Martin is two shots back in a tie for 21st after carding a three-over 75.
Elvia Flodstrom finished the round at five-over par and is tied for 63rd, while
Nina Pitsch shot a seven-over round and stands tied for 58th.
