PLANT CITY, Fla. – Sophomore lara Martin carded a five-over-par 77 to lead the Little Rock women's golf team during the opening round of the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate on Sunday.
Martin sits 21st overall in the field, tied with 12 other golfers and just one stroke outside the top 15. As a team, the Trojans are in 12th place following the first round.
Junior
Eleonore Aernouts is one shot behind Martin and currently 34th, while
Nina Pitsch posted an eight-over-par round and sits 74th. Cloé Poizac finished the day at 13-over-par.
Competing as individuals,
Fehild Graesel carded a 10-over-par round, while
Petra Balkovec finished at 13-over-par.
The second round of the tournament is scheduled for 8 a.m. Monday.
