STARKVILLE, Miss. – Breya Clark broke the triple jump record and
Ka'Neisha Jackson topped her own 400m hurdles record as Little Rock saw two school records fall on the final day of the Maroon and White Invitational hosted by Mississippi State on Saturday.
Â
Clark's triple jump mark of 40-9.5 (12.43m) broke the school record by over 2.5 feet as she placed second in the meet. She now ranks fourth in the Sun Belt Conference this year.
Â
Meanwhile
Ka'Neisha Jackson topped her own school record in the 400m hurdles by 0.03 seconds, as she placed third in the race.
Â
Helensia Green added her name to the Little Rock record books Saturday as her time of 55.73 in the 400m dash ties for sixth in school history as she finished fourth in the race.
Â
On the men's side, the Trojans 4x100m relay squad of
Cogan DeRousselle,
Phillip Anderson,
Andre Dibbles and
Cameron Jackson clocked 41.03 to post the 10
th-fastest time in school history as the quartet finished fourth overall.
Â
Little Rock returns to next week when the Trojans head up to Fayetteville, Arkansas for the Arkansas Twilight, the final regular season meet of the year.
