HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE – Anna Dawson registered her first career top-10 individual finish as Little Rock closed out its home event tying for sixth at the Little Rock Golf Classic at Diamante Country Club. Little Rock shot an 8-over 296 in round three, closing out the 54-hole event at 28-over 892.

Dawson notched her first career top-10 showing with a 2-over 74 in round three, closing out the event tied for 10th with a 1-over 217. Dawson was the top Trojan in par-five scoring at 4-under, ranking tied for third in the event as her 12 birdies was second among the individual field. The 217 is a new 54-hole tournament record, besting her 221 at the Green Wave Fall Classic last month.
Agatha Alesson was second on the Little Rock scorecard with a 9-over 225, including a 4-over 76 in round three. She tied for 28th individually, two shots better than
Katja Mueller's 11-over 227 as Mueller tied for 34th, including a 4-over 76 in round three.
Kellie Gachaga posted the low round of the day for Little Rock in her final trip to Diamante, shooting an even-par 72 to tie for 36th at 12-over 228.
Viktoria Krnacova tied for 48th at 14-over 230 to round out the Little Rock scorecard with
Malena Austerslaatt tying for 61st as an individual.
Conditions were clear but cold and windy on a crisp October day in Hot Springs Village as Little Rock's 296 was tied for the third-lowest round of the day, moving in to a tie with Troy for sixth and finishing three shots better than Tarleton State (31-over 895). The Trojan duo finished four shots out of fifth behind Belmont's 24-over 888.
Georgia State took the team title with a 5-over 869, besting ULM (13-over 877) by eight shots. Houston Christian (16-over 880) finished third with Missouri State (20-over 884) joining Belmont in the team top-five.
Little Rock will have little time to relax, however, as the Trojans now board a plane for the sunny Bahamas to serve as the host school for the Little Rock White Sands Bahamas Invitational. The 54-hole event will be held Friday through Sunday at the Ocean Club in Paradise Island, Bahamas.
