Allison Stigarll Leads Trojans on First Day of John McDonnell Invitational

Sophomore thrower claims bronze in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Allison Stigarll claimed bronze in a field of cardinal Thursday evening as the hammer throw led off action at the John McDonnell Invitational in Fayetteville.
 
RESULTS

Stigarll, a sophomore, threw the hammer 154-2 (47.00m) as she placed third at the meet.
 
On the men's side, Casey Griffin's throw of 166-4 (50.71m) placed him fifth while Isaiah Parker placed sixth with a throw of 162-10 (49.65m). Hayden Wilson's throw of 122-6 (37.34m) marked his first hammer appearance of the season and placed him ninth overall. Wilson now ranks eighth in Little Rock's performer's list.
 
Action in Fayetteville resumes Friday morning with field events beginning at 10 a.m. while running events and the SECN+ broadcast of the meet get underway at 3:30 p.m.
