Agatha Alesson Named OVC Golfer of the Week

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Little Rock senior Agatha Alesson has been named the Ohio Valley Conference Golfer of the Week. The Caracas, Venezuela-native finished second at the USA Invitational this past weekend recording a 5-under 211 over the three days.

Alesson's strong showing assisted the Trojans in finishing sixth place overall.  She shot a 4-under 68 on day one including recording five birdies.  This round tied her for fifth place in the Little Rock career records for Individual Low Round.

She followed up the first day with a 1-under 71 for day two maintaining her second place position.  On the final day, she shot even at 72.

Her total of 5-under 211 now ties her for second in the career standings for Individual Low 54 Hole Tournament.
