HUMACAO, Puerto Rico – Anna Dawson secured a second-place finish, while the Little Rock Trojan women's golf team tied for tenth after the final round of the rain-shortened Puerto Rico Shootout was canceled on Thursday morning.

Dawson, a senior from Waterford, Ireland, finished with a 36-hole score of 4-under, leading the 82-player field at the Palmas Del Mar Country Club on its par-72, 6,026-yard layout. She opened with a 70 (-2) in the first round—the best score among Trojan players—before matching it with another 70 (-2) in the second round.
Joining Dawson as the next top finisher was Eleonore Aernouts, who posted a two-round total of 152 (+8) to tie for 40th. Senior Fehild Graesel, from Oberhausen-Rheinhausen, Germany, recorded rounds of 77 (+5) and 78 (+6). Freshman Iara Martin delivered another solid performance, tying for 68th at 158 (+14). Elvira Floodstrom rounded out the Trojans' lineup, finishing tied for 77th with a total of 163 (+19) in Puerto Rico.
Individual
Playing as an individual, Katja Mueller tied for 37th with two strong consecutive rounds of 77 (+5) and 74 (+2), recording three birdies across the course and 24 pars.
