MOBILE, Ala. – Ka'Neisha Jackson and
Alison Stephens set new school records Saturday as action wrapped up at the 2021 Sun Belt Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Mobile.

Jackson ran 1:00.82 in the 400m hurdles to finish fifth in the intermediate hurdles event, topping her previous school record time of 1:01.46.

Stephens threw the discus 156-11 (47.83m) to top her old school record by two feet, 10 inches as she registered an eighth-place finish in the event.

In the men's 800m, Ricardo Banks was the top Trojan finisher as his finals time of 1:52.08 placed him fourth. Banks also ran on the 4x400m relay team that finished sixth with a time of 3:19.14. He was joined on that relay by
Phillip Anderson, Ricardo Banks,
Andrew Payton and
Logan Nelson.

Dion Murombe topped his previous best mark in the triple jump by a quarter inch, jumping 48-4.75 (14.75m) to finish sixth. On the women's side,
Breya Clark finished seventh with a jump of 40-0 (12.19m).

Overall, the men's team finished tied for ninth with 24 points scored while the women's team finished 12
th with 16 points scored.

Little Rock now awaits the qualifying lists for the NCAA West Prelims, set for May 27-29 in College Station, Texas.
