Hall of Fame
A six-time Sun Belt Conference Coach of the Year, Norwood oversaw the men's and women's golf teams for 13 seasons before moving into an Athletic Administration role for three years, working as Little Rock's Associate Athletic Director to help raise funds for the Trojan Athletic Association. Norwood helped guide the Trojans to a pair of Sun Belt Conference championships during his tenure. A member of the Arkansas Golf Hall of Fame, Norwood is a past president of the Arkansas State Golf Association, Mid-South Golf Association, and Southern Golf Association while also serving on the United States Golf Association Committee for 20 years. Norwood served as captain of the United States golf team in 1995 for the Simon Bolivar Cup played in Venezuela before coaching the United States golf team in the 2011 World University Games played in Shenzhen, China.
